The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has reported the discovery of bones at the partially-demolished residence of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi 32. A forensic team from CID`s crime scene unit began collecting evidence at the site around 7:45am today (10 February) in the presence of Dhanmondi police.

A Dhaka court has placed ex-prime minister Sheikh Hasina`s former private investment adviser Salman F Rahman, ex-law minister Aniusl Haq and two others on a 4-day remand each in a murder case.Judge of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court GM Farhan Ishtiaq passed the order after hearing a petition, said the court`s public prosecutor Omar Faruk Faruki.
