To support and rehabilitate farmers impacted by the last July-August flash flood, the Ministry of Agriculture is disbursing incentives directly to farmers` preferred bKash accounts. In addition to providing seeds and fertilizers, this incentive will help the affected farmers maintain the continuity of production. The Ministry of Agriculture has decided to provide a one-thousand-taka incentive to flood-affected farmers through MFS channels. Farmers can receive this incentive in their preferred MFS account. Among them, 1 lakh 34 thousand farmers have chosen to receive the government incentive in their bKash accounts.
