Hamas hands four Israeli hostages over to ICRC in Gaza
The Palestinian militant movement Hamas handed four female Israeli soldier hostages over to the International Committee of the Red Cross on Saturday, live TV showed. The four were led onto a podium in Gaza City amid a large crowd of Palestinians and surrounded by dozens of armed Hamas men. They waved and smiled before being led off, entering ICRC vehicles that will transport them to Israeli forces.

Man shot by BSF at Chapainawabganj border, left with bullet lodged in back
A man was shot by the Border Security Force (BSF) at the Chapainawabganj border at around 11:30am today (25 January), leaving him injured. The injured, identified as Habil Uddin, has been admitted to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) after being taken there from Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital. Dr Shankar K Biswas, emergency medical officer and spokesperson at RMCH said, "The injured individual sustained a gunshot wound on the right side of his back. He has been admitted to Ward 2 of the Surgery Department."

Argent LNG, which is developing a 25 million metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) LNG facility in Louisiana, has signed a non-binding agreement with the Bangladesh government to purchase up to 5 million metric tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually, the company said in a statement on Friday, reports Reuters. This is the first major US LNG supply deal since President Donald Trump took office on Monday, and according to the parties, reflects industry confidence in the new administration`s pro-energy policies.
