One killed, 6 injured over RMG workers, law enforcers clash in Ashulia
One RMG worker died during a clash between workers and law enforcers in Ashulia today, while six others were shot. The incident took place in front of Mandal Group factory in Jirabo area of Tongi-Ashulia-EPZ road on Monday (September 30) around 11:30 am. Dhaka Metropolitan Police`s (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 788 cases and realized Taka 33,20,250 as fine in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules. The cases were filed and fines imposed on September 29, a DMP release said here today. During the drive, a total of 189 vehicles were impounded and 70 others towed.
