Instead, Professor Ali Riaz, a political science professor at the University of Illinois, has been appointed as the head of the commission by the government. The Cabinet Division issued this order on Wednesday (September 18). The order states that in his address to the nation on September 11, Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus announced the formation of six commissions as part of state reform and named their heads.
