They keep their money in the USA and Europe. Bangladesh has opened a window. Any foreign company and foreign individual can keep their money in Bangladesh’s offshore accounts.

Ivory Coast this week received its first vaccines against malaria, a disease that kills four people a day in the country, mostly small children, the government said Saturday (29 June). A total of 656,600 doses have been received, which will "initially vaccinate 250,000 children aged between 0 and 23 months" in 16 regions, the government said. Although the number of malaria-related deaths has fallen from 3,222 in 2017 to 1,316 in 2020 in Ivory Coast, the disease "remains the leading cause of medical consultations", according to the Ministry of Health.

Deceased Monir Hossain Moni, 80, was the son of late Akubbar and employed as a night guard at the village home of one Abdul Razzak Mithu, who resides in Dhaka with his family. His hands and feet were burnt, and there were injury marks on the head. Locals said Moni guarded the house for over five years and lived alone in an outer room.

A man died and 14 others were injured as a bus of Star Line Paribahan overturned on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Sitakunda on Saturday (29 June). India-based power plant Adani has suspended electricity supply to Bangladesh, exacerbating the country`s ongoing power crisis. This coincides with several other major power plants in Bangladesh undergoing simultaneous maintenance. According to the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), Bangladesh has been importing 1,600 MW of electricity from the Adani Group since November 2018. A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between BPDB and Adani Power was signed in November 2017 for 25 years, with electricity transmitted through a 400kV dedicated transmission line connected to Bangladesh`s national power grid, operated by Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd (PGCB).
