Cabinet approves proposed National Budget for FY 2024-25

The Cabinet, at a special meeting today, approved the proposed national budget for the fiscal year 2024-25. The meeting was presided over by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the cabinet room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.

Budget FY 2025: SIM-enabled telecom services to be costlier

The mobile phone SIM-enabled telecommunication services will be costlier as the supplementary duty on the services was raised to 20 per cent from 15 per cent in the proposed National Budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.
