In 2021, Iran`s President Ebrahim Raisi, who rose to power as a young lawyer, died in a helicopter crash, according to a news report from the country`s semi-official Meher news agency. The Red Crescent said no one was found alive as the helicopter was completely destroyed. Police recovered the bodies of three persons including two children from a hole from Kakchar Nayapara in Trishal upazila of Mymensingh district on Tuesday (21 May). The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. Kamal Hossain, officer-in-charge of Trishal Police Station, said local people noticed that a fox was dragging a body to a paddy field from a hole. Later, they managed to drive away the fox and found two more bodies at the hole.

At least 10 female farm workers, nine of them children, died in Egypt on Tuesday when a minibus plunged off a river ferry and into the Nile northwest of Cairo, the health ministry said.
