Milton Samaddar placed on 4-day remand

A court here on Sunday (5 May) placed Child and Old Age Care founder Milton Samadder on four-day remand in a human trafficking case filed with the capital`s Mirpur Model Police Station. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Begum Shanta Akter passed the order as police produced him before the court and pleaded to show him arrested in the case and place him on seven-day remand. Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain on May 2 had placed Milton on three-day remand in a case lodged for allegedly making fake death certificates to bury people who died in his centre.

AL secretariat meeting tomorrow
