A court in Jashore on Sunday (31 March) sent 51 leaders and activists of BNP and its associate bodies to jail in sabotage cases filed at several police stations in Jashore. A 10-year-old boy was killed in a road crash in Dhaka’s Kamrangirchar area on Sunday (31 March) morning. The deceased was identified as Mashruful Hasan, son of Md Mamun of Noakhali district. Quoting Tanvir Hossain, a pedestrian, Inspector Bachhu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police camp, said the accident occurred around 11 am when a goods laden van ran over the boy as he fell on the road after being hit by a human hauler while crossing road, leaving him injured.

An Israeli air strike on a Gaza hospital Sunday killed four people and wounded 17, WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said. The strike at Al-Aqsa hospital was witnessed by a World Health Organization team sent there to assess needs and to collect incubators for the north of Gaza, Tedros said in a post on X, formerly Twitter. Incidents of killing and injuring Bangladeshis along the Bangladesh-India border are rising again due to the Indian Border Security force, or BSF, refusing to adopt safe and effective measures, according to a Bangladeshi right organisation. A man stabbed and wounded three people in an knife attack Sunday (31 March) in a shopping mall near the Israeli town of Ashdod, emergency services said. The first missiles for the Patriot air defense system will be produced in Germany within three years, Managing Director of German missile systems manufacturer MBDA Thomas Gottschild said. "We are currently planning to build an engine plant in Aschau.
