The 15th anniversary of the atrocious carnage at the Pilkhana BDR (now BGB) headquarters in the capital will be observed on Sunday (25 February). A total of 74 people, including 57 army officers, were killed in the carnage beginning on this day in 2009. At least twenty people were injured as a bus overturned in Birganj upazila of Dinajpur district on Saturday (24 February). The identities of the injured people could not be known immediately. The Panchagarh-bound bus of ‘Tahmina Paribahan’ overturned around 5 pm after its driver lost control over steering, leaving 20 people injured, said Mojibur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) Birganj police station.
