The meeting began at 12:30 pm and lasted till 13:15pm. “I had an excellent meeting with the National Security Adviser of India, Ajit Doval. We discussed a number of security issues, including the Rohingya issue. It was really an excellent meeting,” said the Foreign Minister.

PM calls for holding regular sports tournaments for children and youth

Narayanganj City Corporation, public representatives, district administration and police administration`s joint consensus on clean the city have started by conducting illegal market eviction campaign on Mir Jumla road of the city on Tuesday (6 February). The historical consensus made on February 3 from a round table meeting which held on Narayanganj Press Club. A close confidante of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Dr Mahmud is scheduled to meet the top Indian leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his 3-day stay in India. He will have extensive talks with his Indian counterpart Dr Subramanyan Jaishankar, at whose invitation this visit is taking place.

264 Myanmar force members take refuge in Bangladesh
As many as 264 Myanmar security forces have fled to Bangladesh amid clashes between the country`s military and the armed rebel group, Arakan Army. A total of 264 Myanmar forces including BGP, army personnel and immigration officials have taken shelter in Bangladesh, said Shariful Islam, public relations officer (PRO) of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB). The Myanmar forces have entered Bangladesh through Tumbru border in Naikhangchhari upazila of Bandarban district with arms and ammunition.
