India`s Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday (24 January) handed over the body of a Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) member, who was shot by BSF members two days ago. Mymensingh, Cumilla city by-polls on March 9 : EC

The Election Commission (EC) has announced that by-elections to Mymensingh and Cumilla City Corporations will be held on March 9. EC Secretary Jahangir Alam announced the election schedule at a press conference at the EC Bhaban on Wednesday (24 January). Upazila elections to begin in last week of April : EC Alamgir

Election Commissioner Mohammad Alamgir told on Tuesday (23 January) that upazila elections are scheduled to start in stages during the final week of April and run through the final week of May.
