Sheikh Hasina and Mohammed Shahabuddin placed floral wreaths at the altar of the memorial around 6.35 am to pay homage to the martyrs.

Kuwait`s ruling emir, the 86-year-old Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah, died Saturday. Kuwait state television broke into programming with Quranic verses just before a sombre official made the announcement.
