Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Advocate Anisul Huq on Sunday (5 November) said that BNP leaders are being arrested for their involvement in criminal activities, not for political reasons. He remarked this while talking to reporters at the Secretariat. "They were not arrested for political reasons. They were arrested for their involvement in criminal activities. It has nothing to do with politics," he said.

Primary schools in Delhi to remain closed as air pollution worsens

3 injured as bus hits car in Bangabandhu Tunnel

She called the oppsition BNP as arson terrorist. "I will urge the people of the country including Dhaka city dwellers to resist these arson terrorists. If necessary nab them and throw them in that fire," she said.
