Seven people including five members of a family sustained burn injuries in a fire apparently from accumulated gas in a house at Mirpur-11 in the capital on Sunday. The injured are Abdul Khalil,40, a painter, his wife Ruma Akter,32, and their three sons Abdullah,13, Mohammad,10, and Ismail,4. A 55-year-old woman’s body was recovered from the Moynar Mor area of Katla union at Birampur upazila of Dinajpur on Saturday morning.
