5 of a family among 7 burnt in fire at Dhaka’s Mirpur

A 55-year-old woman’s body was recovered from the Moynar Mor area of Katla union at Birampur upazila of Dinajpur on Saturday morning. 10 more die of dengue

Ten more deaths due to dengue were reported in the 24 hours leading up to Saturday morning, raising the total fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh to 448 this year. In the recent fatalities, three occurred in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), one in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), four in the Dhaka division (outside the city corporations), and one each in the Chattogram and Barishal divisions (outside the city corporations).
