The traffic division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 292 cases and imposed fine of Tk 11.58 lakh after conducting drives against traffic rule violators on Tuesday. Activities at Teknaf land port of Cox’s Bazar have come to a halt as bullets from conflict-torn Myanmar are falling on the land port. Teknaf Upazila Nirbahi Officer Adnan Chowdhury confirmed the matter saying that the activities have been suspended following the firing.
