196 dengue patients hospitalised in 24hrs

Another 196 people were hospitalised with dengue in 24 hours till Friday morning. Of the new patients, 53 were admitted in hospital under Dhaka North City Corporation while 50 were hospitalized in Dhaka South City Corporation, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). Some 1,745 patients are receiving treatment in different hospitals across the country. A total of 18,041 dengue cases and 103 deaths have been reported since January 1, 2024
