Registration-fitness must be to drive heavy vehicles: BRTA
Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) has requested to refrain from driving various types of public/private heavy vehicles used for cargo, tankers, and construction without obtaining registration and fitness certificates. Otherwise, the Government’s transport regulatory body said that action will be taken against these vehicles. This has been informed in an emergency notification recently signed by BRTA Director (Engineering) Shithanshu Shekhar Biswas.
