Iraqi social media star Ghufran Sawadi, better known as Umm Fahad, was shot dead outside her home in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, on Friday (26 April) night, a Baghdad police source told the press. A 27-year-old man died of heatstroke at Munsirhat of Sadar Upazila of Munshiganj on Saturday (27 April). The deceased was Sakhawat Hossain Mukul of Bajitpur upazila of Kishoreganj. He was a sales representative at RFL. Ferdous Hasan, a duty doctor at Munshiganj General Hospital, said Sakhawat was brought dead. He had symptoms of a heat stroke. The deceased’s colleague, Mohammad Rokon, said Sakhawat fell ill due to the intense heat while working at Munshirhat. Later, he was taken to Munshiganj General Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

A woman and her two children were electrocuted in Niamati Union of Bakerganj Upazila of Barishal on Saturday (27 April). The deceased were Sonia (32), her daughter Sabrina (9), and Salman (4) of Dhalmara village of the upazila. Md Afzal Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bakerganj Police Station, confirmed the matter. Md Humayun Kabir, chairman of Niamati Union, said the incident happened when Salman was playing near the house around 11 this morning. At the time, the electrical connection broke, and he was electrocuted. Later, Sabrina and Sonia went to rescue Salman, and they also died on the spot.
