Another Bangladeshi shot dead by BSF along Lalmonirhat border
Another Bangladeshi youth was shot dead by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along Aunghorpota border in Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat early Sunday within a week of killing a Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) member by them along Jashore’s Benapole border. The Labour Appellate Tribunal in Dhaka today granted bail to Nobel laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus and three officials of Grameen Telecom. The bail will remain in effect until the labour law violation case filed against them is disposed of. Over Tk 9 lakh has been stolen from a sub-branch of NRBC Bank in Bogura`s Sadar upazila. The incident happened at the Shakharia Pallimangal Hat area of the upazila on Friday (26 January) night, said Bogura Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Saihan Oliullah.
