Two teenagers were dead as a gas cylinder exploded in a house in Dinajpur`s Birganj upazila on Monday (23 October). The deceased were identified as Prosenjit Chandra Pal, 13, son of Pratab Chandra Pal of Kumarpara area and Shimanto Pal, 17, son of Nikhil Chandra Pal of the same family. They succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital on Monday night, said Mainul Islam, officer-in-charge of Birganj police station.
